Week 18 NFL Picks

280

Kansas Chiefs (-9) at Los Angeles Raiders

The Chiefs are holding down the #1 seed firmly and the Raiders won’t give them much resistance holding on to that spot.

Chief 34 Raiders 21

Tennessee Titans at Jacksonville Jaguars (-6.5)

One team is trending up while the other is way down. The Tennessee Titans were once a promising team but not even Derek Henry can help in this game. Trevor Lawrence will lead the Jags to the AFC North crown.

Jaguars 28 Titans 17

Dallas Cowboys (-7) at Washington Commanders

It appears that Sam Howell will be leading the Commanders against the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys can still get the #1 seed and there defense will be too much for Washington. Washington’s inability to score points hurts them again.

Cowboys 27 Commanders 13

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Atlanta Falcons (-4)

Tampa Bay has clinched the NFC South division and they play a Falcons team who’s out of the playoffs. Tampa Bay wins this one in low scoring affair

Bucs 17 Atlanta 13

New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills (-7)

After a very emotional week do the Bills have it in them to overcome adversity and win this game? The answer is “Yes” after they got a very positive sign that Damar Hamlin will be OK. Look for them to be focused and win big in this game.

Bills 30 Patriots 21

Minnesota Vikings (-7.5) at Chicago Bears

Who are the Vikings? They have a record of 12-4 but to me are the weakest team in the NFC. I don’t trust them to go far in the playoffs. In this game they should win against a Fieldsless Bears.

Vikings 24 Bears 14

Baltimore Ravens at Cincinnati Bengals (-7)

No Lamar again in this game with both teams having a lot to play for. If the Ravens win and the play the Bengals for he wild card, home field will be decided by a coin toss. I like the Bengals in this one.

Bengals 28 Ravens 20

Los Angeles Chargers at Denver Broncos (-2.5)

The Chargers have made the playoffs and will be looking to make a deep run. They are the better team and will win this game.

Chargers 21 Broncos 13

Detroit Lions at Green Bay Packers (-4.5)

This could be the game of the week as both teams are fighting to get the #7 seed in the NFC playoffs. On one hand, you got the Packers who are led by Aaron Rodgers and they have the experience. Then you have the Lions who were dead in the water earlier in the season and have been resurrected led by Dan Campbell. I like the Lions in a close one in Green Bay.

Lions 34 Packers 31

Houston Texans at Indianapolis Colts (-2.5)

Two bad teams who are playing for a higher draft pick. Take the Texans in this one who have played well at times

Texans 24 Colts 21

New York Jets at Miami Dolphins (-2)

Skylar Thompson will be the QB for the dolphins looking to squeak in the playoffs. The Jets have been eliminated from the playoffs and are looking to play spoiler.

Dolphins 24 Jets 14

Carolina Panthers at New Orleans Saints (-3.5)

Both teams have been eliminated from the playoffs after disappointing seasons. Look for the Panthers to win this game for Steve Wilks.

Panthers 20 Saints 13

New York Giants at Philadelphia Eagles (-14)

Will Jalen Hurts be back this week? If so, that would be a big boost for the Eagles who have lost the last two. The Giants who have secured the 6th seed will most likely rest some of their starters. Look for the Eagles to bounce back with a win.

Eagles 27 Giants 21

Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers (-2.5)

The Browns are out of the playoffs and the Steelers have a fighting chance. Steelers led by Kenny Picket and their defense should defeat the Browns

Steelers 17 Browns 13

Arizona Cardinals at San Francisco 49ers

Can anybody beat the 49ers? Are they the team to beat? It sure looks that way as they prove all the doubters wrong. Purdy has been nothing but impressive along with Christian McCAffrey. Let’s not forget about their formidable defense too.

49ers 24 Cardinals 10

Los Angeles Rams at Seattle Seahawks (-6)

With a win and a Lions win over Green Bay, the Seahawks sneak in as the #7 seed. This is a good possibility and their playing in Seattle with the 12th man.

Seahawks 28 Rams 14

Week 17 record 11-4
